The Aging Driving Population: Skills, Health, and Statistics

As the driver ages, the driving skills will slowly begin to deteriorate. The driver can minimize this by actively trying to keep their skills sharp. The driver may achieve this by practicing regularly.

As the driver ages, they should look out for the following;

  • Deteriorating eyesight
  • Slower reflexes
  • Impaired hearing

Any other underlying health issues

If any of these issues pertain, visit the doctor. Moreover, consult if the drivers are still fit for the road.
