  1. Scan the intersection in advance and look for pedestrians, scooters, and other cyclists
  2. M.S.B–[Mirror – Signal – Blindspot] OR SMOG – [Signal – Mirror – Over-shoulder – Go]
  3. Speed check – Reduce your speed
  4. Positioning – Safe distance from the curb
  5. Scan intersection – Look left, centre, right and left again
  6. Yield – Traffic and Pedestrian
  7. Blindspot
  8. Aim
  9. Steering
  10. Recover
  11. Mirror
