Driviology’s G Licence Package

At Driviology Driving School, we offer comprehensive G-driving lessons to help you prepare for the G DriveTest and develop advanced defensive driving skills. Our tailored lessons ensure you are confident and test-ready.

Before the Test

Eligibility:

• Minimum 12 months of G2 driving experience.

Booking:

• Schedule your test online at DriveTest.ca or by phone.
• Ensure you have a valid G2 license.

Documents to Bring:

• G2 License.
• Test appointment confirmation (if applicable).
• A vehicle that meets Ontario safety standards (e.g., working lights, brakes, horn, mirrors, and wipers).

Vehicle Requirements:

• Valid registration and insurance.
• Ensure it's roadworthy and clean inside for the examiner.
• A full tank of gas (or sufficient for the test duration).

Practice Driving:

• Review advanced driving skills (listed below).
• Practice in diverse conditions (rain, night, highways, and intersections).

Review Ontario's Road Rules:

• Study the Ontario Driver's Handbook.
• Familiarize yourself with traffic signs and road markings.

Mental and Physical Preparation:

• Get a good night’s sleep.
• Eat a light meal beforehand.

During the Test

Key Skills Assessed:

• Highway Driving: Merge and exit safely. Maintain appropriate speed and distance.
• Lane Changes: Signal in advance. Check mirrors and blind spots. Change lanes smoothly.
• Speed Control: Maintain posted speed limits. Adjust speed for conditions.
• Intersection Handling: Navigate turns and stops efficiently. Yield as required.
• Parking: Demonstrate Front and Reverse parking.
• General Road Safety: Show awareness of pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles.

General Tips:

• Stay calm and focused.
• Follow the examiner’s instructions carefully.
• Maintain a confident and smooth driving style.

After the Test

Results:

• Pass: Receive your full G license.
• Fail: Request feedback from the examiner and schedule a retest.
