Do I need BDE before taking my G2 test?

BDE is not mandatory in Ontario, but it is highly recommended. Many insurance companies offer discounts for BDE completion, and it significantly improves your chances of passing the G2 test.

Can I take BDE online?

The classroom portion can sometimes be completed online, but the in-car lessons must be done in person with an instructor.

What insurance discount can I get?

Insurance discounts typically range from 5-15% depending on your insurance provider and policy. Many insurers recognize MTO-Approved BDE programs.

What vehicle will I be driving?

You will practice in our modern dual-control vehicles, all recently inspected and maintained to the highest standards.

Will I need to provide my own vehicle?

No. All in-car instruction is provided in our training vehicles with dual controls for your safety.

Can I choose my instructor?

While we try to maintain instructor continuity, instructor availability may vary. All our instructors are certified and experienced.

What if I fail the G1 exit exam after BDE?

We offer follow-up lessons to help identify areas for improvement. You can retake the exam as many times as needed.
