Adjusting the Steering Wheel’s Tilt and Reach, Not Just Your Hands

Adjusting the steering wheel itself means setting its tilt and telescope (reach) so your arms have a slight bend and the wheel does not block your view of the instrument panel, separate from how you place your hands on it.

Tilt Adjustment
Tilting the wheel to a comfortable angle should still leave a clear view of the instrument panel, rather than blocking key gauges.
Telescope (Reach) Adjustment
Sliding the wheel toward or away from the driver should leave a slight bend in the arms when hands are placed on the wheel, avoiding both an overextended reach and a cramped position.
