G1 Practice Tests
Test your knowledge with practice questions modelled on the Ontario G1 written test. Each set covers road signs and rules of the road — the two sections on the real test.
About the G1 Practice Tests
The Ontario G1 written test has 40 questions. Twenty cover road signs and twenty cover rules of the road. You must score at least 16 out of 20 on each section to pass. Practice tests like these help you spot the areas where you need more study.
Road signs questions include warning signs, regulatory signs, and information signs. Rules of the road questions cover speed limits, right-of-way, lane use, and safe following distances. Knowing both sets of rules well gives you the best chance of passing on your first visit to the DriveTest centre.
Full interactive practice tests will be available here soon. In the meantime, study using the Official MTO Driver's Handbook. You can also contact Driviology to book lessons with a certified instructor who can guide you through the key topics before your test.
